Intestinal Active is suitable as a nutritional instrument during conventional therapy against acute, chronic or recurring inflammatory processes that target the gastro-intestinal system of dogs. Gastrointestinal disorders, especially vomiting, flatulence, weakness , diarrhoea or constipation, represent a frequently found problem in veterinary medicine. Many clinical studies have found that intolerances, allergies and the problems mentioned above are all closely related.

Natural principles added:
  • Milk enzymes: are part of the intestinal flora bacteria  and maintain the integrity of this important organ. 
  • Oregano: the benefits of this plant are well-known. The phytocomplex found in this plant is high in antioxidants. 
  • Chestnut: chestnut extract has a protective effect on the mucosa of the gastro-intestinal tract. 
  • Heteropolysaccharids natural WBC: mucilage found in Psyllium used for their regulating effect on the intestines and their high absorbing property. 
  • Prebiotics: MOS are part of yeast cells that modulate the activity of intestinal bacteria. FOS, carbohydrates naturally found in fruits and vegetables, regulate the presence of intestinal bacteria Bifidobacteria and Lactobacillus for better food absorption. 
  • Electrolytes: provide good moisturization, compensating for heavy losses and maintain the correct osmotic pressure in intra and extracellular fluids. 
  • Rose hip: precious natural source of vitamin C. Increased availability of the natural principles; furthermore it has a protective action on the vascular system and activates immune and defense properties.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Composition:

(of the kibble): rice, fish meal (21%), vegetable fats and oils, fish oil, minerals, dehydrated yeast (Bio MOS), FOS, Yucca schidigera.  (AFS Tablet - 7%): hydrolysed fish protein, hydrolysed vegetable protein , plantago seeds (psyllium (mucilage 1%)) 0.058%, minerals (sodium chloride and potassium salts from organic acids 0.0261%), dehydrated yeast (Bio MOS) and FOS 0.0027%.

Additives:

Vitamins: vit. A 15.000 IU/kg, vit. D3 998 IU/kg, vit. E 200 mg/kg, vit. C 30 mg/kg, choline chloride 1.000 mg/kg. Oligoelements: copper amino acid chelate 20 mg/kg. Nutritional additives: DL-methionine 500 mg/kg. Technological additives: antioxidants, preservatives, extract rich in natural tocopherols 21.3 mg/kg. Sensory additives: botanically defined natural products: botanically defined natural products: Origanum vulgare 996 mg/kg, Rosa canina 797 mg/kg, Castanea sativa 202 mg/kg, Rosmarinus officinalis 0.4 mg/kg. Gut flora stabiliser: (E 1707 Enterococcus faecium DSM 10663-NCIMB 10415) 3.5x109 cfu. 100 mg/kg.

Analytical constituents:

moisture 9%, crude protein 24%, crude oils and fats 12%, crude fibre 1.5%, crude ashes 8 %, Omega3 1%, Omega6 4.3%, Na 0.4%, K 0.8%.

Metabolisable energy:

3.450 kcal/kg - 14.4 MJ/kg

Recommended length of time:
  • For acute diarrhoea and for the following recovery period: 1 or 2 weeks.
  • To compensate poor digestion: 3 to 12 weeks.
  • For chronic pancreatic insufficiency: lifelong use.
  • Reduction of intolerances to ingredients and nutrients: 3 to 8 weeks. If symptoms disappear the product may be used indefinitely.
