The SANYpet Research and Development Department has carried out lengthy studies on dogs' and cats' degree of sensitivity, demonstrating that,  while a considerable number of individuals have no obvious sensitivity to environmental and dietary allergens, there are however a large number of animals which show:

• in the dog, reactions mainly in the skin, ears, gastroenteric tract and mouth;
• in the cat, reactions mainly in the kidneys, gastroenteric tract, eyes and mouth.

THE CHOICE OF FOOD SOURCES

The various food sources in use in dogs and cats have been clinically studied to establish a real scale of the degree of pollution.  This scale allowed the choice of the foods which show two different fundamental characteristics, in both the short and the long term:

• little or no allergenic power;
• high effectiveness in a privation diet.

THE IMPORTANCE OF USING “CLEAN” FOODS

All foods play a part in the genesis of food reactions, but protein and carbohydrate sources have a fundamental role. A very large number of dogs and cats show a high level of hypersensitivity to the presence of residues in the meat obtained from factory farming and to wheat gluten.

The mere use of protein sources not derived from factory farming and of corn as carbohydrate source is very often sufficient to completely prevent these reactions.

Most of the animals fed on them enjoy excellent health, in both the short and the long term.  The successes that can be achieved with FORZA10 are the proof of this.

The SANYpet production plant has been built using the most modern technologies, placing it at the world-wide state of the art for the production of both conventional and organic pet food.

Since it has also achieved certification for the production of organic dog and cat food under the IFOAM standards (certification no. IT CPB 9515), SANYpet can also claim technological leadership in this vibrant new sector.

AFS (ACTIVE FRESH SYSTEM): a revolutionary technique at the service of health

To guarantee that the kibble extrusion process (up to 100° C) does not partially or completely inactivate the efficacy of the natural substances added, the SANYpet Research and Development Centre has found the definitive solution to the problem:  the  AFS™ system, in which the active substances are added at room temperature, enclosed in a special heart-shaped tablet. This tablet, mixed with the kibbles in a proportion of 10%, allows conservation of the effectiveness of the heat-sensitive substances added inside it.
