The solution is FORZA10

Sanypet is an Italian company specializing in dietary nutrition based on fish as the most important ingredient in pet food. Recent statistics show that at least 70% of people suffer from intolerances and that this phenomenon can affect any part of the body. The number of people who suffer from intolerance is such that it leads us to believe the true cause is not the actual food but a substance contained in it. Food is simply a carrier for such substances. Even in cats and dogs it is evident that their nutrition and the manifestation of food intolerance are closely related. These are phenomenons often resulting in cutaneous and gastro-intestinal pathologies which vets encounter everyday in their clinic. However, as in people, intolerances can affect any body organ. In a recent research project the Sanypet staff of vets, with the help of Professor Alessandro Ciorba from the University of Perugia and Professor Fausto Quintavalla from the University of Parma, have confirmed that pharmacological residue in industrial bred meat and the development of many pathologies in cats and dogs are closely related. Until now many of these pathologies have not been associated with nutrition. The ones that are thought to be connected to nutrition are incorrectly attributed to forms of protein intolerance (to beef, pork and fowl) and to new forms of peptides. This common belief brings the pet food industry to research new forms of protein: ovine, catfish, deer and other wild animal meat. In doing so, the industry does not keep in mind that cats and dogs can be sensitive to the proteic component found in meat they have never eaten before. Statistically, protein sensitivity is rare (beta-lactoglobuline, casein, glutamine). Instead, as was mentioned earlier, it is more common to find forms of adverse food reactions to one or more components of pharmacologically active substances present in industrially bred animals. These adverse food reactions manifest themselves as local inflammation in particular organs, the most sensitive ones in that particular animal.
There are so many food-related pathologies that we can consider this a syndrome, named P.A.R.S.I. (presence of alimentary residue syndrome) by the author, Sergio Canello, published in the AIVPA Bulletin 1/95. Untill now, the exact component causing the syndrome has not been identified. What is certain is that by eliminating all food possibly suspected to contain the substance "R-factor" (residue factor) we obtain a rapid and progressive regression of all the symptoms already stated, using natural anto-oxidants and anti-inflammatories. When an elimination diet is introduced, integrated with natural anti-infiammatories, the disturbances disappear whithin a few days, for mild cases, to a few weeks for more serious disturbances. This leads us to believe that it is a pharmacological reaction. The level of adverse reaction is directly proportional to the quantity of metabolites ingested with the food. The worst reaction has been found after animal fats have been ingested. Fat is a tissue known to accumulate pharmaceutical substances. Animals with a sedentary lifestyle fed on a homemade diet will develop more acute reactions with peaks directly proportional to the percentage of animal fats contained in the last meal (skin, bones, pork fat, pepperoni, broth). Animals fed exclusively on a commercial pet food diet will develop milder reactions. Every pet food contains a standard level of animal fat that will trigger chronic disturbances. Animals given pet food and table scraps will have increased reaction with peaks following immediately after eating table scrabs. As we have already anticipated, every animal will have individual reactions depending on its weakest organs. This explains why during clinical observations animals prone to eye, ear or stomach problems show more of this disturbances a few hours after eating foods high in animal fats. Fresh food or pet food containing even a small amount of animal fats should be eliminated. Many commercially known hypoallergenic pet foods have not been successful, because they contain animal fats from industrially bred animals.
With increased intake, animals have a rapid and more serious reaction. It is very noticeable that using our diet, very serious cases of dermatosis, chronic ear infections, chronic diarrhea and chronic conjunctivitis clear up completely without other pharmaceutical help. This confirms that the germs or parasites that have developed in specific regions of the body are the consequence and not the cause of the pathology.

P.A.R.S.I.

Forza10, a complete line of fish based pet food for cats and dogs, represents a new frontier in eliminative diets in food-related pathologies. For vets, Forza10 is an instrument that by itself is able to diagnose different pathologies linked to food or to other causes. Intolerance to fish (the only protein-derived substance) can be overlooked considering the low percentage of animals displaying such intolerance as opposed to the number of animal intolerant
to pharmaceutical substances in meat. A very accurate research, led by Dr. Sergio Canello was the stating point for the creation of this line of pet food. Research has shown a close connection between hypersensitivity to certain substances found in industrially raised animal meat and by-products and the pathologies described. With one or more pathologies Forza10 can substitute pharmceutical therapy.

OCULAR PATHOLOGIES TRIANGLE

Diet will solve eye pathologies caused by hypersensitivity or pharmaceutic-like responses. Effective results are obtained for the following:
watery eyes
eye secretion
red and irritated eyes
occlusion of the nasal-lachrymal duct
chronic conjunctivitis
cheratitis
uveitis
panoftalmitis

The experience developed on 25 years of clinical studies leads us to believe hypersensitivity is actually a pharmaceutic-like reaction.

CONSTANT EYE WATERING AND SECRETION

A high percentage of cats and dogs present this problem. Such phenomenon, objectively have no clinical value and so are usually ignored by most owners; vets rarely treat the cases for this reason. What happens is always the same: medicine only has a temporary effect. A Forza10 diet has a rapid effect. All eye problems will disappear if connected to PARS, only pathologies in animals morphologically predisposed will persist (Persian cats, short-muzzled dogs). Some results will still be attained by these subjects.

EYE REDNESS AND BLOODSHOT EYES

This is a problem found in many individuals, and is usually unilateral. Problems like conjunctivitis and eye redness are present. Some subjects are also sensitive to light. Although this is very frequent in small dogs (especially in Miniature Poodles) it has had a lower rate in the last few years. A possible explanation is there is less pharmaceutical pollution in meat.

OCCLUSION OF THE NASAL-LACHRYMAL DUCT

This is seen on a daily basis in clinics. This can be found frequently in only one eye (unilateral). Normally surgery is performed to solve it but the operation will be successful only if the occlusion is caused by mechanical problems; it's more commonly caused by a muscle spasm. Forza10 can solve this problem in a few days.

CHRONIC CONJUNCTIVIS

This is frequent, as other PARS, in both cats and dogs; often it is found in sub clinical states and the majority of cases are unilateral. When in a subclinical state, it is rarely treated. Every vet knows that an antibiotic or anti-inflammatory will not achieve sufficient results because the bacteria present are the effect and not the cause of the pathology. Forza10 diet assures good and definite results. Those conditions due to other causes will respond to pharmaceutical treatment.

CHERATITIS UVEITIS AND PANOFTALMITIS

Serious forms of flogosis and eye infections depend on PARS. Recently there have been fewer cases of cheratitis. This disturbance is frequent in animals on a poultry based diet.

CUTANEOUS PATHOLOGIES

This type of diet obviously solves all skin disorders related to intolerances or pharmaceutic-like reactions.

Effective results are obtained for the following:
itching and scratching
dandruff
dry and dull coat
various types of dermatitis acute chronic moist dry
eczema
granuloma
hot spot
erythema
anal furuncolsis

Many of these pathologies can and will have other etiological causes (allergy, atopy, primitive food hypersensibility, Dapp). 25 years of experience and clinical studies brought us to believe that a large percentage of phenomenon considered to be caused by hypersensitivity are actually caused by a pharmaceutical-like reaction. Such belief is based on observation of the time taken for the symptoms to recede with a diet that eliminates the "R" factor. The time necessary for all the pathological symptoms linked to PARS is contained to 5-20 days, even in atopical subjects.

ITCHING

Itching caused by PARS has very precise characteristics. It appears in very young subjects (even in 50-60 day old individuals, after weaning) in the neck and back region. 2 or 3 days of diet are sufficient, without meat and meat by-products, to observe the itching and scratching has disappeared. Re-introducing meat means the symptoms will reappear. The fact that young puppies have not had enough time to develop any food specific sensibilities leads us to believe that their itching reactions are pharmaceutic-like reactions. The areas affected are commonly: neck back, underarms, sides and crotch. In chronic cases areas affected are extended to more parts of the body. The majority of subjects develop symptoms within a few hours of ingestion. Itching is usually associated with the presence of skin parasites, but their presence does not justify the intensity or the precise locations where the itching exists. In fact, dogs with a mediocre infestation (when Dapp is not present) will scratch moderately and in a mechanical way where the parasites are positioned. Dogs will also use their teeth where they feel parasites.

DANDRUFF

Dandruff is frequent in many PARS cases. Many individuals are affected in a serious manner; although this has no particular clinical value, for many owners it can be unpleasant. With Forza10 dandruff will disappear in 10 days at the most. Only in a few cases has symptoms such as dandruff, diarrhea, eating grass remained constant or has worsened with a Forza10 diet.

DULL AND DRY COAT

The majority of dogs have a poor coat and most owners passively accept this. A subject in good condition has a healthy, shiny coat even if it lives outdoors. Instead a dull coat returns dull only a few days after the animal has been given a bath. When you eliminate all the food your animal reacts to the coat will return to a physiologically healthy state. A diet without the "R" factor and the presence of fatty acids omega 3 and omega 6 work in synergy to give you a plan that works in just 2 weeks. Your dog's coatwill become soft and shiny even if it has never been this way before.

SEBORRHEA

This is another problem frequently found in dogs. One of the most evident consequences of the pathology is the foul odor the pet has. In some cases the condition is so serious it causes the owner to be uncomfortable in the dog's presence. The time taken for the regression is connected to the seriousness of the condition, but in most cases full recovery is achieved in 20 days. Local therapy is not necessary, although some also prefer a local skin therapy.

DRY AND MOIST DERMATITIS, ERYTHEMAS, ECZEMAS, LABIAL DERMATITIS

Such pathologies are seen on a daily basis by some vets and often conventional therapies do not give satisfying results. We can guarantee that the results attainable by using Forza10 will be far better than what you expected, and the quality is higher than the other brands on the market. All kinds of dermatitis will disappear very rapidly. We want to underline the fact the time taken for the symptoms to disappear is rapid, because Forza10 eliminates the problem from its root (the "R" factor and not hypersensibility). It has been applied to labial dermatitis, to which no cure has been found yet, with satisfactory results.

LICKING SYNDROME

This condition is usually found in very young subjects, it does not cause clinical symptoms. Obviously it's more evident in white-coated dogs but can be present in all breeds. The owner may not tell the vet because the condition isn't serious. It is most likely to be linked to PARS because it regresses with the Forza10 diet.

GRANULOMA CAUSED BY LICKING

This is frequent in many patients; it can be more or less serious. Its disappearance in about 50% of the cases, with a Forza10 diet, confirms the assumption that it is caused by a pharmaceutical-like reaction. The pharmaceutic-like reaction makes the area more sensitive thus promoting a psycogenic component to the disturbance.

MOIST ECZEMA ON PAWS

Eczema is a problem becoming more frequent, thought to be caused by a Malassezia infestation; instead it is caused by a sensitive organ which favors parasite development ( a consequence and not a cause). On a diet, with no pharmaceutical help, the eczema clears up in 15-20 days.

INTERDIGITAL PYODERMA AND CALLOSITY

This is a sign of an unbalanced organism; the percentage concerning P.A.R.S.I. is less than 50% of the incidences.
Since antibiotics have not given good results, trying our diet is worth the effort. Based on the statistics available in Italy the cases caused by P.A.R.S.I. regress in about 30 to 60 days. Chow chows, Shar-peis and Shih-tzus are breeds subject to hypersensitvity and need more time to heal completely (2-3 months).

CHIN PYODERMA

Black sebo, which clings to the skin, forms on young dogs. Frequently connected to P.A.R.S.I., the solution is a Forza10 diet. The symptoms will disappear within a week.

HOT SPOTS

A very strong itching and scratching in a localized area causes an open sore auto-inflicted. The number of cases is diminishing in the world. Animals affected eat meat and fats on a daily basis (especially poultry and pork meat) and bones, symptoms can appear a few hours after ingestion. The highest level of reactions with fats in body tissues is another demonstration of a pharmaceutical-like reaction. In the past few years, with a lower rate of reaction to poultry meat (probably caused by a more cautious use of oxytetracycline), the number of cases of hot spots has diminished.

CHRONIC SCROTUM DERMATITIS

Such pathology is relatively frequent in dogs and is characterized by redness, licking and a gradual change in skin color. In the forms present for a long time itchiness tends to disappear. It appearsto be universally accepted that the scrotum is one of the most likely organs for pharmaceutical-like responses. The regression of most of the chronic scrotum dermatitis using our diet is just more proof that it is a pharmceutical-like reaction. The eventual presence of climate related allergens (and contact allergens) are not important for the diagnosis. In fact, the specific weight of the "R" factor dominates that of climate related allergens.

RED-FUR SYNDROME

We are not in possession of sufficient elements to confirm a direct relation in this case.
However in many subjects using this diet, symptoms have receded.

ANAL SACS

This is a pathology found in many breeds especially in Poodles; it can be very fastidious for the animal, linked to a higher density of the liquid contained in the sacs.
The higher density makes it difficult for the liquid to come out; the liquid remaining in the sacs cause a fistulae if not treated. Dogs on a Forza10 diet for other problems have been cured for other minor problems as well.; the results are good enough to be included in the P.A.R.S.I.. As for other pathologies some already existing pathologies will persist.

ANAL FURUNCULOSIS

We believe some fistulae regarding the perianal glands represent a problem for many vets. Treatments currently available are based on antibiotics or anti inflammatories but unlike other P.A.R.S.I. pathologies, do not show definite results because they cure the effects but not the causes. This pathology is often associated withchronic intestinal pathologies like colitis and enterocolitis. Because these forms often depend on P.A.R.S.I., it is easily explained why Forza10 is so successful.
Forms caused by other factors will remain.

GASTROINTESTINAL PATHOLOGIES TRIANGLE

This diet will certainly eliminate all pathologies pertaining to this body region caused by hypersensitivity or pharmaceutic-like responses.

Efficiency will be high in:
vomiting
grass eating
gastritis
colitis
grumbling stomach
frequent or chronic diarrhea

VOMITING ON AN EMPTY STOMACH

Cats and dogs in which this happens eat grass to induce the vomiting. Eating grass is not a physiological response.
Vomiting occurs mostly in the morning accompanied by gastritis and colitis; if symptoms disappear after two or three days of diet it is necessary to search for other causes, as it is unlikely to be PARS. In clinics, everyday cases are frequently linked to P.A.R.S.I.. As for other pathologies, animals must not eat other types of food or symptoms will reappear. Vomiting on an empty stomach, with P.A.R.S.I., appears in the morning of the day after the ingestion of other types of food.

INTESTINAL GAS

This has become more frequent in recent years. Although it has no clinical value owners dislike such phenomenon. We can confirm that Forza10 will solve most of the cases ( only breeds such as Boxers or Bulldogs are subject to this disturbance and will persist). The time taken to eliminate all events is just a few days, but only if the animal is on a strict diet.

STOMACH TORSION

It is necessary to observe the percentage of animals on a diet afflicted by this problem. Since intestinal gas could be a concause Forza10 might be useful.

CHRONIC DIARRHEA
Diarrhea is caused by SPRA and treated with a correct diet is 25-30% of the total incidences of diarrhea. We only refer to chronic diarrhea cases and not to occasional incidences. Most symptoms are thought to be caused by a poor absorption but instead it is probably a pharmaceutic-like response. This is also valid for pancreatitis. In case of intestinal bacteria proliferation Forza10 will cure it in 2-3 weeks of diet. If results aren't seen in one month it may be due to other factors. It is not necessary to gradually introduce Forza10 with the usual pet food, as it is for other brands. Individuals on a Forza10 diet for a few pathologies may develop diarrhea but it is vey rare. In some breeds (Chow chows and Shih-tzus), prone to diarrhea, when given Forza10 will need a period of adjustment.
Tuna and squid gives diarrhea in some individuals.

OTHOLOGICAL PATHOLOGIES TRIANGLE

HEAD SHAKING
Many dogs have this phenomenon: they shake their head even without presenting particular problems in the ears. Forza10 eliminates the problem in a few days.

ECCESSIVE EAR WAX
This is also a pathological state and just like others is PARS sensitive and Forza10 is a solution. Do not clean the ear completely as it leads to even more wax production. When all the causes are eliminated the pathology will disappear on its own in 10-20 days. A high production of wax is positive only in hunting dogs, for ear protection against external objects (water, grass, branches, and mud).

EAR IRRITATION AND REDNESS

This is frequent in very young individuals; it is not unusual to see it even in 2 month old puppies. Irritation and redness can be found only in one ear (unilateral). A Forza10 diet eliminates the problem in a few days.

EAR PAVILION ECZEMA

Food has been confirmed to be a common cause of many ear problems and the ear is one of the favorite targets in atopy.
A high percentage of these phenomenon are thought to be due to a hypersensitivity but are actually caused by a pharmaceutical-like reaction. Such conviction is based on the time taken to see a total regression of the symptoms with an "R" factor eliminative diet. The time necessary to obtain results is 10-20 days even with a diagnosed atopy. A diet without the "R" factor gives better results than simply eliminating what the animal is supposedly allergic to.

CHRONIC EAR INFECTION

Many forms of ear infection evolve from ear pavilion eczema . Most cases are connected to P.A.R.S.I.. In these situations it's easy to find germs like Pseudomonas and Malassezia, parasites able to resist to regular treatment. Forza10 is very useful in these cases. Research has linked hypersensitivity to substances found in the meat of industrially bred animals and the pathologies described.

Before

RARE PATHOLOGIES TRIANGLE

With P.A.R.S.I. some pathologies are more frequent than others and may regress spontaneously with Forza10, giving proof of what caused it.

We are referring to a certain percentage of:
convulsive syndromes (3-4%)
recessive hemorragic cystitis (rare)
feline oral cavity granuloma (2-3%)
hind leg paralysis (rapid and begnin evolution)

CONVULSIVE SYNDROME

In 3-4% of dogs subject to this, the attacks diminish or disappear altogether. About 25 cases of regression were observed and about 55 diminished.

RECESSIVE HEMORRAGIC CISTITIS
Not many cases have been studied and are still not very clear. As for the other pathologies it has disappeared with a Forza10 diet. In a patient put on a diet, presenting daily hematuria but with all negative results in exams, the problem cleared. Put on his usual diet the problem reappeared.

FELINE ORAL CAVITY GRANULOMA
Regression of this pathology is result of the Forza10 diet. Only in few cases was it necessary to run more lab test for diagnosis and in some the cause was P.A.R.S.I..

HIND LEG PARALYSIS

Such forms appear suddenly, and acute abdominal pain and difficulty walking characterize the condition; it was more frequent 6 or 7 years ago.
Some individuals were in good condition but were subject to hypothermia. The evolution is limited and begnin. As for other pathologies recessive forms are eliminated when connected and treated for P.A.R.S.I.. This condition has diminished as the pollution in white meat has diminished as well, over the past four years.
